Meet Dr. Rouzer
Ronald Rouzer earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Georgetown in 1984. Upon graduation, he worked for the U.S. Public Health Service and then in group practices in Florida, Illinois and Pennsylvania. Choosing Pennsylvania as his permanent home, he opened his own practice here in 1989 and has been providing exceptional dentistry in a friendly, comfortable environment ever since. His commitment to his profession is evidenced by the extensive amount of post-graduate education he has completed. He has traveled far and wide to learn from the best of the best. Dr. Rouzer has maintained a personal goal of obtaining 50 hours of education in each year he has practiced, far more than the 15 hours required to maintain his license. Dr. Rouzer is honored to have received advanced education at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, a world-renowned center for the study of Aesthetic and Neuromuscular Dentistry. Knowledgeable in many fields, Dr. Rouzer also lectures to insurance agents on TMJ management and advises them on the appropriateness of treatment and recommendation for payment.
Dr. Rouzer is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the Crown Council. He is very proud of the fact that his practice has consistently been in the top 10% nationally of donor offices for Smiles for Life, an organization that provides financial support to children in need.
Dr. Rouzer enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Michele, and son, Joshua. He has served as a worship leader in his church, has performed with professional and community choirs, and appeared in numerous plays. His favorite hobby is flying his Cessna 172.
Missy Kelly, RDH, BS
Our dental hygienist, Missy graduated from Thomas Jefferson University in 1994. She joined our practice in 1997. Since then, she has rigorously pursued continuing education, completing a variety of courses at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.
Greatly rewarded by her profession, Missy also takes great pleasure in getting to know our patients on a personal level. She finds tremendous satisfaction in being able to provide them with superior care in a comfortable, relaxing environment.
When not in the office, Missy can be found with her family and friends. She and her husband, Brian, are parents to Brianna. The family also has two black labs, Kaya and Sam. She enjoys playing softball, shopping, walking and riding her motorcycle.
Denise Durante
Denise Durante is our executive assistant. She returned to the practice in 2007 after previously working with Dr. Rouzer before starting her family. She also is the assistant director and lead teacher for our dental assisting school. She has worked in the dental profession for over 20 years and enjoys it more and more everyday.
She has many interests, including her family, photography, warm weather, shopping and driving her BMW Z3. She has been married to Michael for over 15 years and has two wonderful girls, Gabrielle & Michelle. She also has four cats, Chara, Louis, Cody, and Milo, one for each family member.
